NOTICE OF PUBLIC HOLIDAY
This is to inform the general public that the High Commission will be closed on Thursday, 1 May 2025, to observe the Workers Day in Nigeria and subsequently will be closed on Monday, 5 May 2025, to observe Early May bank holiday in England and Wales while normal Services will however, resume on Friday, 2 May 2025 and Tuesday, 06 May 2025 onward.
Please be advised that all applicants schedule for biometric appointments on the days the High Commission will be closed can come from Friday, 2 May 2025 and Tuesday, 06 May 2025 onward.

PUBLIC NOTICE
The attention of the High Commission of Nigeria in the United Kingdom has been drawn to false and misleading information currently circulating online regarding a purported recruitment exercise by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and involving the High Commission of Nigeria to the United Kingdom.
The High Commission wishes to categorically state that no such recruitment exercise is being conducted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Furthermore, the High Commission has no involvement in any recruitment activity. Attached herewith is a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for ease of reference.
Members of the public are strongly advised not to engage with or make any payments to individuals or groups claiming to offer job placements through this supposed exercise.
