NOTICE OF PUBLIC HOLIDAY
This is to inform the general public that the Federal Government of Nigeria has declared Friday, 1st May 2026 as public holiday to observe Workers Day in Nigeria and subsequently will be closed on Monday, 4th May 2026, to observe Early May bank holiday in England and Wales. In this regard, the High Commission will be closed on those days while normal services will resume on Tuesday, 5th May 2026.
Please be advised that all applicants with biometric appointments scheduled on these days when the High Commission will be closed would be attended to from Tuesday, 5th May 2026.
The High Commissioner extends warm wishes to the Public for a joyful Holiday.
